Interested gentleman are invited to join us at the bar and for the banquet following our meetings once they have contacted our Secretary and arranged for an interview. Contact us

The dress code for our lodge is black tie, but a dark suit and tie will suffice if you are without a tuxedo.

Keystone & social evening

We meet on the third Tuesday of every month (without exception) in a convenient location in central Bangkok. We invite our members to give a presentation and hold a discussion on Masonic topics or general topics of interest. This is a great opportunity for interested gentlemen and visiting brethren to get to know us better. Please contact our Secretary to get details of how to join. Contact us

Mentoring programme

We run a mentoring programme for interested gentlemen and all members as they move through the three degrees of Freemasonry. These groups meet separately and privately under the leadership of a senior member of the lodge. The purpose is to help members consolidate their learning on the Masonic path and strengthen the support the receive from their brothers. Mentoring groups agree amongst themselves how often they meet.

Annual retreat

We organise a weekend away to the Thai country side once a year to bring members and their families together for some relaxation and for planning ways to improve ourselves, our lodge and Freemasonry in Thailand.

Book club

The Lodge St John Book Club was started during a lengthy Covid lockdown period. We meet virtually (Zoom) once a month to discuss the book of the month and select the next book to read. The brother who has selected the book chairs the subsequent discussion. Books chosen are fiction and non-fiction, Masonic and non-Masonic, but the discussion often applies our reading to our Masonic learning.
